**Job Description**:
GDIT has an exciting opening for a Help Desk/IMO to join our EMITS team in Wiesbaden Germany. EMITS Supplies Mission Command Support for U.S. Army Europe.

The Help Desk/IMO is responsible for ensuring all tickets worked include the problem, the solution, the end user, initiation and completion time, and end user satisfaction. They will also be tasked with re-imaging desktops and laptops and deploys new equipment to end users.

Document all user requests and actions taken in ServiceNow ticketing system.

HOW A HELP DESK/IMO WILL MAKE AN IMPACT- Participate in special projects.- Track and update the movement of all IT assets (laptops, desktops, etc.) within the stipulated tracking system(s) and within time constraints.- Retrieve equipment from departures to be re-imaged, reassigned, and updated in inventory.- Perform advanced diagnostics, analysis, repairs, or replacement hardware for PC’s, laptops, and peripherals.- Follow set policies and procedures when assisting clients to ensure proper handling of requests.- Contribute knowledge and updated information to maintain the Help Desk SOPs and Training manuals for Tier I/II support.- Supports continuous improvement in the process and quality of the operations- Provide support for escalated issues from help desk analysts.- Assist in troubleshooting MCIS network outages impacting the COIC Common Operating Picture and be able to load and troubleshoot a TACSAT radio.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Education: HS Diploma- Required Experience: 1+ years of related experience- Required Technical Skills: Ability to Track and update the movement of all IT assets (laptops, desktops, etc.) within the stipulated tracking system(s) and within time constraints. The likely salary range for this position is $68,000 - $92,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
