**TUDENT HELPER HARDWARE (M/F/D)**
GENERAL PURPOSE:
We are looking for a Working Student (80 h/month) to support our Hardware team at our newly created Aachen location.
WHAT YOU’LL BE WORKING ON:
You will join our Hardware team to support manufacturing, quality assurance and process optimization. As part of the Hardware team, you will work hands-on within a newly created department to establish and optimize production processes and workflows.
You will become part of a small, newly developed unit and actively support the setup of a brand-new location in Aachen, Germany.
You will disassemble and assemble hardware units using specific tools which you will be trained to operate.
You will conduct quality assurance of finished products and box, package, and track units for shipping.
You will manage on-site storage of hardware units and working materials.
You will help the team to ensure a high and efficient production quality.
Together with our Hardware team, you will develop new approaches for handling and improving internal and external production processes.
You will develop and maintain workflows for future team members to work with.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
You’re an active student, ideally in the field of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Product Development.
You are organized and self-motivated with a hands-on mentality and start-up mindset. Using tools and getting your hands dirty is nothing you’re afraid of.
You’re a quick learner and a handy problem solver. Experience in hardware repairs and handling of industry grade tools is an advantage.
You are well familiar with MS Office tools, experience with project organization tools (e.g. Monday, Trello) is a plus.
Fluency in both written and spoken German and English is required.
Knowing the Elgato products is beneficial.
