**Duties**:

- Serves as the Director, AFRICOM Network Enterprise Services (ANES), Africa Command (AFRICOM) and Deputy, J633 Network Enterprise Services Branch, USAFRICOM.
- Provides leadership for C4IM/IT services supporting Theater and enterprise initiatives.
- Responsible for the overall management, control, coordination, and execution of projects and programs within the region to support the Theater decisions.
- Implements decisions, guidance, laws, regulations, and policy in the development and support of the IT initiatives, programs, and projects.
- Participates in executive decision councils at USAFRICOM providing detailed analysis and insights regarding the delivery of C4IM services representing a broad range of customers.
- Responsible for the development, execution and monitoring of the J6 management plan for USAFRICOM.

**Requirements**:

- Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
- Must successfully pass urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter IAW AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain TOP SECRET eligibility with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). The IT Classification for this position is IT I. Position is designated as Special Sensitive.
- TDY up to 20% may be required.
- This position requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain the appropriate Information Assurance certification in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M, Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program, within 6 months of entry onto duty.
- This position is designated Mission Essential.
- In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations (natural or man-made disaster) the incumbent is required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations.
- Incumbent is required to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450,
