**Duties**:

- Develop, propose, formulate, integrate, evaluate, and implement plans, policies, standards, and architectures, to provide the most cost efficient, reliable, secure, cost effective, and user-friendly solution to the identified requirement.
- Provide management officials and operating personnel within the activity technical advice on current technology and policy and its impact on current and long-range programs.
- Responsible for preparation of Information Technology and business policy and procedural governance, and project development IAW regulatory guidance.
- Receive and analyze new technology support requirements, develops information system techniques, establishes criteria, and makes recommendations when procedures/guidelines do not exist for telecommunication and automation resources/requirements.
- Extensively research and study reports and technical journals to determine and keep abreast of state-of-the-art information systems technology and trends which influence revision or development of new communication and automation techniques.
- Develop Command position, prioritizes and advises on proposed requirements to insure regulatory and architectural compliance.
- Consult with customers to refine functional requirements and translate functional requirements into technical specifications.

- Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET (TS) security clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) based on a T5 (or equivalent) investigation.
- In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
- Incumbent of this position must be able to obtain and maintain the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Intermediate certifications within 1 year of entering on duty.
- Incumbent of this position must be willing and able to work overtime.
- Incumbent of this position must be willing and able to travel for duty up to 15% of the time.
- Incumbent of this position must be willing and able to participate in the DOD/DA Immunization program, to include live vaccinations as required by DOD/DA policy, if deployed in the AOR.
- Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid U.S. Passport.
- Incumbent of this position must be able to obtain and maintain the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Intermediate certifications within 1 year of entering on duty.
