- ** Team Leadership**: lead and develop cross-functional teams with adequate project management skills/organization.
- ** Entrepreneurship**: Drive business ideas from inception to lead customer closure. Establish new market segments with sales potential exceeding €30M. Foster high-level relationships with industry leaders, co-developing new business ventures.
- ** Market Analysis & Strategy**: Dive into global market trends, identify and evaluate new market entry opportunities and shape and implement our business development strategy.
- ** Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Work closely with technology, product development, business units, marketing, and sales. Ensure a cohesive approach in all phases of new business development.
- ** Analytical oriented**: Set and achieve ambitious targets, monitor project performance, and assess project effectiveness.
- What you will need- **Educational Background**: Advanced university degree with a business and/or Polymer/Material Science background. 7-10 years of managerial experience in Business Development (B2B environment) and/or Sales/Marketing.
- ** Growth Mindset**: Thrive in seeking and driving new business opportunities. Navigate seamlessly in a fast-paced environment with assertiveness, resilience, and a proactive approach.
- ** Technological Proficiency**: In-depth knowledge of market dynamics and emerging technologies, especially in polymer/material science.
- ** Sales and Negotiation Expertise**: Proven track record in executing high-value deals and complex negotiations.
- ** Communication and Leadership**: Experience in building and leading cross-functional teams. Proficient in modern project management methodologies, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- ** Innovation & Impact**: Track record of driving innovation in business development. Startup environment experience is advantageous.
- ** Strategic Thinking**: Showcase proficiency in developing business strategies.
