**Your role**:
As a **Demand Generation Specialist,** you will take complete ownership of our marketing efforts across our acquisition efforts. You will work in the Marketing team, where you will be responsible for our performance marketing efforts and acquisition efforts (lead generation).

You will have complete control and full support over establishing the short-term tactics and long-term strategy for this function and should have a strong growth mentality with a drive for acquisition and marketing automation.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Setting up, implementing, managing, and owning all search and display performance marketing activities to drive users and leads to the platform.
- The scope of your role will be including acquisition and retargeting campaigns, as well as owning multiple acquisition KPIs in close collaboration with Marketing, Business Development, Direct Sales, and Partner Sales.
- Setting up and owning acquisition marketing automation to optimize our lead generation processes through a mix of channels that you will test, validate, and scale along with the team.
- Establishing a scalable demand generation infrastructure to gather users and MQLs, further allowing users to convert into SQLs through various channels and initiatives.
- Conducting a range of research activities to better identify target audiences and attract them through compelling content across the appropriate channels and funnel stages, using a variety of tools like SEMrush, Google Marketing Platform, LinkedIn, Twitter, and other ad platforms.
- Owning the measurement and reporting of performance marketing and user acquisition metrics (such as CPC, CPL, LTV, etc.) to track, report, and analyze program performance, and make recommendations for further improvement.

**What you need to succeed**:

- You have previous experience as a demand generation expert in a high-growth B2B SaaS company, preferably with a multi-product platform.
- You are a technical marketer who is focused on programmatic demand generation through performance marketing, and have experience with some combination of common channels like Google/Bing Search, LinkedIn, Native Advertising, etc.
- You have a deep knowledge of SaaS marketing and have worked with ad platforms, automation tools, CDPs, CRMs, and BI tools that compliment your performance marketing efforts.
- Strong understanding of wider digital marketing channels and how they work together, particularly the impact SEM has on SEO
- Strong analytical skills & attention to detail with a data-informed mentality and willingness to take risks.
- Experience in working with owning, optimizing, and managing budget and spend based on commercial KPIs, and with an understanding of impact on ROI and CAC based on budget decisions.
- Knowledge in working with advertising APIs is a plus.
- You believe in a no-ego work environment where you can speak your mind and be blunt.
- Exceptional communication in English and interpersonal skills since we are a remote-first team.

**Nice to have**:

- Prior experience working in a remote team.
- Prior experience as the "first" demand gen expert, having established performance marketing and KPIs at fast-growing companies.
- Experience working in a remote environment, with multiple colleagues spread across various locations and timezones.
- Ideally based within +/- 3h from CET
- Previous experience with localized products (our website is in English, German, French, and Spanish)
