Tesla's mission is to accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy. The role of the Residential Energy Demand Generation team in the region Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) is core to this mission as we develop resources and lead programs to increase demand and ensure we and our partners hit installation targets.
Tesla is looking for a Demand Generation Manager in Berlin, Germany, to drive growth of residential energy products, e.g. Powerwall, with a focus on Germany, but also across the region's countries and to support our channel sales teams, our Certified Installer partners and distributors. This includes for example lead generation campaigns, organization of webinars and marketing partnerships as well as email marketing. The overall objective is to increase Tesla's residential energy sales while also enabling our partners to grow their top lines. This role will report to the Marketing Programs Lead in Europe and will work closely with different global teams.
To succeed, this candidate must be energetic, highly organized, data-driven, and have a keen eye for detail. They should have a passion for sustainable energy and the ability to create exceptional marketing and communication campaigns to increase awareness and drive sales. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to be a supportive member of the team. They should be comfortable working in ambiguity and have a strong ownership mentality.
You will be working with a variety of stakeholders globally including engineering, design, web development, copywriters, sales and legal teams ensuring you deliver to objectives and while creating impactful marketing and communications campaigns across the region.

Responsibilities
  • Work with the Marketing Programs Lead in Europe and other marketing team members to develop targeted strategies and execute activities that enable the Tesla Residential Energy channel sales teams and our partners to hit their sales targets, esp. in Germany, but also across the region
  • Work with our internal Design, Engineering, Sales and Content teams as well as external vendors to develop consistent and tailored localized messaging for different channels to increase Powerwall awareness and consideration understanding where our products fit in the market in different countries
  • Plan and execute trade shows, in-store events or webinars to grow Powerwall awareness and the Certified Installer network
  • Plan, execute and analyze localized email marketing campaigns to end customers
  • Prepare and run various marketing activities for new product or feature launches
  • Source, negotiate and execute marketing partnerships to increase Powerwall awareness and generate leads

Requirements
  • Experience with CRM system and relevant experience in the CRM field. Good eye for creative execution and overall aesthetic for CRM channels. A strong understanding of channels and communication approaches (email, in-app, push, SMS). Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into insights and initiatives. Experience in monitoring and improving multi-channel CRM journey
  • Proficient in delivering events and exhibitions of varying size and scales, and also virtual webinars, with a focus on logistical planning and execution, managing timelines, budgets, logistics, and programming in coordination with other stakeholders. Analyze event success and provide actionable insights and recommendations for future improvements
  • Hands-on work experience developing growth and marketing strategies, driving brand awareness, generating leads and executing results-based marketing programs . Experience working in business-to-business (B2B) roles or the renewable industry is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or evidence of exceptional ability
  • Strong sense of ownership, willingness to drive projects and deliver results as well as proficiency in building clear, compelling value propositions that can be expressed in a variety of media to all levels of the organization
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in German and English. French being a plus
  • Ability to travel (~20%), mainly within Europe, but could include global destinations
