As Digital marketing and Customer Activation specialist
- DACH you can be a game changer and craft your career in our expanding Marketing team. You will have the chance to set free your entrepreneurial spirit by bringing your ideas to life.
You will be accountable for handling day-to-day implementation and management of digital marketing activities with a strong focus on driving traffic to Azelis digital platforms via content management and delivering top-notch customer experiences with an overall goal to generate Marketing Qualified Leads (MQL) for the DACH sales teams.
Organisational Positioning
Reporting to Marketing Director EMEA and dotted line to Managing Director DACH, you will bring Azelis Customer Activation, Digital Engagement and Digital Marketing capabilities to the next level that ensures successful adoption of Azelis digital assets.
Main accountabilities
The Digital Marketing & Customer Activation Specialist ensures the following accountabilities:
- Produce and execute local content calendar in close collaboration with regional marketing managers and a cross-functional local DACH team
- Drive local content development for the Azelis customer portals and digital campaigns in DACH
- Continuously increase traffic to Azelis customer portal to grow the audience through various activation strategies-on SEO, keyword research, link building, SEA, account-based marketing and targeted advertising campaigns.
- Support regional content localization into DACH markets including keyword optimization, addition of local products and innovations, and translation into German
- Run local marketing campaigns with the support of the central campaign manager and CRM automation specialist
- Align (regional) multi-channel marketing campaigns with local events and trends
- Help identify and initiate new marketing projects that drive traffic to the DACH digital engagement platforms
- Act as the key point of contact for all local Digital Marketing and website related questions, including local stakeholder management
- Own DACH digital marketing budget, measure and report ROI of campaigns and initiatives & improve performance
- Initiate customer-centric ideas for further development of value added functionalities and components by closely collaborating with Digital solutions team
- Contribute to central marketing strategy development with integrated insights, helping to drive strategic decision-making through the provision, analysis and interpretation of information and metrics
We are looking for a proactive personality that is ready to work in an international rapidly changing and challenging environment, who is passionate about developing innovative digital customer journeys, with the following experience, educational background and interpersonal skills:
- Degree in (Digital) Marketing, Customer Experience, Business Administration or a related field
- 4-6 years in a similar role within a fast-paced matrix organization
- Experience in lead generation and achieving business growth through Inbound Marketing and hands-on SEO, SEA and targeted advertising campaigns in a B2B environment
- Understanding of Digital Marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Search console
- Excellent awareness of digital trends and innovations
- Excellent project management skills, enjoy working in collaboratively in a cross-functional team
- Knowledge and understanding of the DACH market (Germany, Austria, Switzerland)
- Preferably based in Germany
Qualities you shall possess:
- Fluent in both German and English.
- Strong presentation and communication skills with a demonstrable ability to present complex issues and findings to diverse audiences

- Active listener, good understanding of digital marketing strategies and practices, able to install new process and propose new solutions
