In the Faculty II: School of Education, Architecture and the Arts, DFG Research Training Group 2493 "Consequences of Social Services Work", we are looking for a researcher as of the 01.10.2024 at the following conditions:

- 100% = 39,83 hours
- Pay grade 13 TV-L
- limited 31.03.2029
- The DFG Research Training Group focuses on the consequences of social services work for the service users. Consequences are deliberately defined broadly, as different consequences that can arise from social services work. Social services are understood as institutionalized measures implemented by the welfare state for the pedagogical or psychosocial support of people’s participation and options for action. The DFG Research Training Group aims to constructively combine and further develop existing approaches to impact**Your tasks**:

- Design and realization of an own research project that uses the opportunities and interdisciplinary orientation of the DFG Research Training Group. Projects that integrate different methodological or theoretical perspectives or develop innovative approaches in impact research are welcome.
- Active participation with own seat in the management board
- Planning of the scientific program together with the coordinator, the PhD studens and the principal investigators
- Moderation of a constructive dialog of the different research approaches together with the principal investigators
- Contact person for the PhD students
- Participation in all events of the DFG Research Training Group, including theory and methods seminars, colloquia, workshops and training sessions, with the aim of enriching the academic exchange and enrich the learning environment
- Presentation and discussion of own research results within the college and at national and international conferences
- Teaching duties: four semester hours per week

**Your profile**:

- Relevant academic university degree (Master, Magister, Diploma or Teaching Training/State Examination, Section II) in one of the following disciplines: Social Pedagogy, Social Work, Educational Science, Psychology, Sociology or Social Science, Media Studies
- Above-average doctoratl degree; doctoral thesis with an empirical focus in the field of social assistance
- Profound knowledge about theories of social services
- Interest in a further academic career
- Affinity for interdisciplinary exchange
- Own research project related to the topic of the DFG Research Training Group. A two
- Interest to participate in the international event program of the DFG Research Training Group
- Good knowledge of written and spoken German and English
