**We seek**:
In the Faculty IV: School of Science and Technology, ETI / Embedded Systems, we are looking for a researcher as of the nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt at the following conditions:

- 50% = 19,92 hours
- Pay grade 13 TV-L
- limited bis 30.04.2026

**Your tasks**:

- Definition of requirements for data sets and proxy data sets for the cross-use case.
- Identification and comparison of suitable proxy datasets in the automotive sector
- Development of a cross-use case model architecture
- Development of an iterative training pipeline for model development
- Development of an adaptive model validation strategy
- Develop methods to account for data drift in model validation.
- Adaptation of methods considering multimodal data from heterogeneous sensor systems.
- Development and comparison of optimization strategies for the adaptation of pre-trained model weights

**Your profile**:

- Completed scientific university studies (Master's degree in computer science, electrical engineering/electronics or related field)
- Basic knowledge in the area of embedded systems
- Programming skills in C and Python
- Knowledge in the area of machine learning is desirable
- Interest in interdisciplinary collaboration
- Very good knowledge of the English language
