**SUMMARY**: The Vice President of Sales provides leadership, direction, and resource stewardship to the organization’s sales function. This role will lead all aspects of the sales for the German Market and will report to the Founder and the company’s Chief Executive Officer.

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**
- Develop plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s sales goals
- Manage the sales teams, operations and resources to deliver profitable growth - set KPI’s and overall sales targets
- Define optimal sales force structure - hire and develop sales staff as needed
- Define and coordinate sales training programs that enable staff to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives
- Identify and implement infrastructure and systems to support the success of the sales function
- Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting, and manage the use of budgets
- Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team
- Effectively collaborates and maintains a high level of mutual respect with the CEO and peers.

**Experience**
- Demonstrated record of sales success and leadership skills in B2B sales model within foodservice industry
- Sales and leadership experience in scaling businesses
- Ability to work with distributors, build upon and manage current customer base, and marketing within the food industry
- Experience in foodservice is a MUST
- Experience working with Founder led or Family business preferred

**Work Environment/Travel**
- Must be open to travel as necessary - client visits, company meetings and trade shows throughout the year
