Regional Vice President Revenue isresponsible for the client regional revenue of Emarsys, heading theRevenue business unit, which constitutes of Sales and ClientSuccess. They are responsible for establishing Emarsys as a marketleader and continuously increasing total revenue throughestablishing regional long-term and short-term strategies,processes and targets for Sales and Customer Success teams - basedon internal data and market analysis.

RVPRevenue is responsible for the ultimate performance and developmentof commercial divisions by setting up development goals and targetsfor and facilitating the performance of the Sales and ClientSuccess teams.


YOUR AREA OFRESPONSIBILITIES


Business:

  • Establish brand as a market leader through setting upstrategies and processes for the commercial departments. Buildlong-term and short-term strategies for Sales and Customer SuccessTeams.
  • Ground customer acquisition andretention plans, actions, and goals to generate growth in revenueand bookings.
  • Build seamless customer Salesand Success procedures by setting best practices, tools, andmethodologies in accordance with internal needs and market bestpractices.
  • Set appropriate metrics andstandards for Sales and Client Success teams.
  • Ensure the maximum adoption of Emarsys products andservices within the installed client base by identifying areas todrive greater integration, automation, and usage of ourservices.
  • Keep up to date with current markettrends and competitive analysis, including pricing, features,license models and value-proposition strategies – tailor commercialstrategies in accordance with the market knowledge.
  • Partner with local Marketing leadership on the marketingstrategy and implement in line with the objectives of each localregion.

People:

  • Collaborate with C-level executives to ensure consistencyof direction and strategies.
  • Collaborate withregional leaders to customize and implement overarching strategiesinto actionable initiatives.
  • Liaise withinternal and external stakeholders on revenue subjectmatters.
  • Act as revenue leader of the DACHoffices on all people-related activities in partnership with the HRteam.

Leadership:

  • Lead, motivate, guide, and empower regional leaders todrive their teams to achieve.
  • Recruit anddevelop successful regional and global leaders and support thedevelopment of their respective teams.
  • Establish and maintain a healthy, thriving, positive andproductive mentality within the department.
  • Set talent acquisition goals, strategies, and processesin collaboration with the TA team.
  • Drivetalent development through defining learning goals and strategiesand facilitating training.
  • Establish measuresto analyze and appraise the performance of local teams.

Finance &Reporting:

  • Providereporting and transparency on Sales and CS performance, activities,and initiatives across regions. Own NBS and EBS numbers.
  • Consolidate regional forecasts and provide detailed andaccurate forecasting for the Revenue division.

YOURPROFILE


  • Demonstrated extensive leadership experience leadingteams in commercial sales and client success on a regional level orhigher.
  • Considerable experience insoftware/applications Sales team and/or CS teammanagement.
  • Consistent overachievement ofquota and revenue goals, both individual and teamquotas.
  • Strong record of accomplishment ofrecruiting, developing, and retaining a high performing salesand/or client success organization.
  • Provensuccess working within a highly matrixed organization andestablishing strong relationships across all functions.
  • Proven record of accomplishment of building satisfied,loyal, and referenceable customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with change, thinkstrategically, and make complex decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to use data to make informedbusiness decisions.
  • Strong operational andanalytical abilities.
  • Excellent presentationand written business communication skills; ability to lead meetingsinternally and externally and executive briefings.
  • Proven ability to improve (regional) team’s performance,including strategies to improve revenue per team member.
