We are looking for a Head of Strategy and Deputy CEO Office, to be based in Munich.

**Your Team**
The Deputy CEO/CFO oversees Finance, HR, Compliance, Strategy and the Transformation & Portfolio Office. The team comprises a highly professional group of experts with a focus on maximising value creation through effective strategic planning and execution.

**The Impact You Will Have**
Reporting directly to the Deputy CEO/CFO, you will play a key role in the development of competitive intelligence, ensuring the continued evolution of AGCS’ strategic objectives and value creation. You will also assume a Chief of Staff role in leading the office of the AGCS Deputy CEO / CFO, ensuring the focus on and the delivery of key priorities. Acting as a key strategic adviser to the AGCS Board and a sparring partner to the Deputy CEO/CFO, you will drive and set the framework for CFO, HR, Compliance, Strategy, Transformation & Portfolio Office.

**Some of your specific responsibilities could include**
- Leading, managing and motivating a team of 11
- Setting the vision, strategy, objectives, and targets for the programme of work at global level
- Identifying and developing strategic opportunities for the business, providing short and long-term recommendations to the Board
- Leading the transformation program in launching high priority strategic initiatives, working directly with the Board of Management, senior executives, and other stakeholders and realising growth strategies that support continued improvement of the company’s overall performance
- Providing input into planning for the strategic direction of the business/functional areas and ensuring that project teams are resourced appropriately to successfully achieve desired outcomes
- Translating “New AGCS” and group strategy into formal projects and improvement initiatives
- Identifying the appropriate competencies and defining the required roles for the various program streams, ensuring cross-functional collaboration where needed
- Leading people processes across CFO area, Compliance and Transformation & Portfolio Office in close collaboration with HR
- Ensuring coordination and consistency across CFO, HR, Compliance, Transformation & Portfolio Office by driving frameworks for CFO overarching topics.

**What You’ll Bring to the Role**
You’ll have extensive experience in creating and articulating an inspiring strategy which aligns with corporate objectives, as well as having an entrepreneurial and creative approach which stretches teams to excel. You’ll have come from a management position, with a deep understanding of the principles and practices of business strategy and excellence, financial concepts and ‘what good looks like’. You’ll love using your outstanding stakeholder management skills to influence and guide best practice at the most senior levels in the organization.
