We are looking for a Chief Strategy Officer who will drive strategy development and -execution and leads the Corporate Development Team for a dynamic A+ Reinsurance Company

This role will be responsible for increasing strategic clarity on corporate and business segment level across the whole company and developing the corporate project management operations and strategic planning

We expect you to orchestrate the continuous adjustment of the client’s business model and identify trends and future profit pools in a changing Risk and Investment landscape as

**tasks and responsibilities**:

- develop, implement and monitor client’s strategic direction, overseeing strategic planning, and leading strategic initiatives in close cooperation with the Board of Directors
- assist and support the implementation of the strategy into operational tasks
- create and maintain a monitoring framework that ensures the evaluation of strategic initiatives based on measurable KPI’s
- facilitate innovation activities and create ideas for new business models alongside Client’s strategic framework
- design new revenue streams by leveraging emerging technologies based on client needs
- develop and steer corporate project management operations and strategic planning
- provide overall strategic governance for projects by establishing standards, processes and tools
- acting as a sounding board for new ideas and strategic suggestions from the heads of all departments
- supporting the Board of Directors in delivering and presenting materials for the Shareholders and Board, including relevant analysis to make data-driven and informed recommendations to the Board
- be present to external stakeholders where appropriate and relevant to overall strategic insight and delivery

**expectations and experience**:

- relevant experience of 7-10 years in strategy, and project management in the insurance or reinsurance industry
- a people-focused personality that is able to attract, develop and maintain trustful and valued relationships
- strong teamwork and networking skills with a pronounced willingness to cooperate
- proven skills and experience in managing major projects involving a multitude of internal and external stakeholders
- deep understanding of the value drivers of insurance and reinsurance companies
- experience working independently and a high level of accuracy
- ability to translate complex content into presentations and to create a meaningful storyline for senior management
- high level of intercultural competence and experience
- business-fluent spoken and written English
