Summary
We are looking for a "Head of Warning Sensors (f/m/d)" at the Taufkirchen site as soon as possible.
The Warning Sensors / OMNI Detection (Omnidirectional Detection) programme department is responsible within the Airborne Optronics business unit for programming, product and project management for airborne missile and laser warning sensors.
Your Tasks- Responsible management of the OMNI Detection programme department including profit & loss responsibility.- Ensure business results (incoming orders, turnover, profit, cash) in accordance with operational planning- Ensuring that projects and orders in the OMNI Detection business perimeter are completed on time and in line with costs and quality requirements- Ensure implementation of and compliance with all contracts with internal and external service providers, subcontractors and suppliers- Developing and ensuring the implementation of the strategy and business plan for the OMNI Detection product family as part of the strategic planning for the programme department and contributing to the Airborne Optronics business area strategy- Ensuring the (further) development of the Hensoldt Optronics OMNI Detection products- Market observations and competitive analyses with the aim of developing future markets.- Ensuring product management over the entire product life cycle for the "OMNI Detection" product family- Preparing and monitoring the planning and ensuring the business development (incoming orders, turnover and programme results) and determining the personnel planning for the "OMNI Detection" programme department- Preparing and ensuring compliance with the R&D planning and investment budget for the area of responsibility in coordination with the supervisor
Your Profile- Completed technical studies (Master / Diploma)- Many years of experience in markets for defence and security technology products and systems with corresponding national and international customer and business contacts.- Many years of professional experience in international programme/project management or also in engineering in electro-optics-
- Experience in disciplinary management- Convincing appearance, communication and argumentation skills- Leadership personality with strong teamwork skills and intercultural competence- Very good knowledge of German and English
