Director of Sales

**Business Overview**:
**Job Purpose**:
The job objective is to take responsibility for Fernox's business in the DACH region, with a sales target to be agreed and implementation of a Sales Force integral program. The role involves developing good working relationships with Fernox personnel and departments, controlling regional expenditure, and coaching the Sales Team in DACH. Other responsibilities include managing Merchants and Distributors, building the Fernox brand, and establishing a sales team in the region. The position is home-based but there will be significant travel within Germany, as well as some wider European travel.
**Responsibilities**:
- Increase sales revenue/margin from our existing customer base by broadening the range and increasing the quantities of products they use.
- Develop and expand the Commercial & Renewable product sales in the region.
- Build and manage a sales team, including recruitment, training, and development.
- Assist in the development and ensure the implementation of the Sales strategy.
- Ensure the correct use of the Atlas system.
- Build relationships with key major OEMs in conjunction with the EMEA SAM Manager.
- Co-ordinate and complete weekly call plans and records, monthly reports, and other administrative documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
- Provide feedback on customer business development, competitor activity, and product/service performance to assist sales and marketing plans.
- Assist in collating sales forecasts and budgets.
- Provide regular reports, including at Month End, Forecast and Budgeting.
**Requirements & Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's Degree level of education is preferred
- Proven sales and management experience from Industry with basic knowledge of chemistry, heating/water treatment market, HVAC, heat pumps, boiler manufacturers or different sectors with good commercial skills and attitude preferred
- Fluency in both English and German
- Technical affinity
- Good communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
