As part of DFG funded research project at the Department for Internal Medicine 1 (Medical Director: Prof. Dr. Thomas Seufferlein) at Ulm University, we are offering a- PhD position (M/F/d)
- Ulm University Hospital and its employees stand for modern, high-quality patient care, cutting-edge research and future-oriented medical teaching and training in attractive professional fields. This requires qualified and committed employees.- in the field of cancer biology to investigate how prominent PDAC driver mutations affect secretion and cargo content of small extracellular vesicles (sEVs, exosomes) to mediate intercellular communication in the tumor microenvironment and with distant metastatic niches.
**Your profile**:
- Master (overall grade 2.0 or better according to the German grading system or equivalent)
- Experience with molecular biology, cancer biology or extracellular vesicles
- Motivation to solve complex biological problems
- Motivation to work with animal model systems
- Excellent communication skills in English
