You’re a proactive, hands-on generalist who is excited about the future of GenAI in German businesses and enjoys building new systems and processes. You take ownership of day-to-day operations, remove roadblocks, and proactively assume responsibilities that at this early stage would otherwise be handled by the founders.What you will be doingActing as a sparring partner to the founders to prioritise and execute operational and strategic projects.Co-owning the operational rhythm by planning the week with the founders, aligning priorities, preparing briefs, capturing decisions, and driving follow-ups to completion.Streamlining workflows and improving operational processes; designing and automating tasks with AI where possible.Creating sales and partner materials and maintaining partner relations.Owning special projects across our go-to-market motions, client delivery operations, and customer success.Building simple dashboards and reporting mechanisms to track KPIs across our value chain.Building and maintaining our internal knowledge base and documentation (with the help of AI, of course).Handling sensitive tasks with discretion and supporting day-to-day operational needs as they arise.What you bringMust-HavesRecent graduate (Bachelor’s or Master’s) or final-year student able to start full-time shortly; backgrounds in business, organisational psychology, economics, engineering, data, or related fields welcome.Evidence of ownership and drive through internships, working-student roles, entrepreneurial projects, first role or similar.Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to create clean, compelling stories with PowerPoint, Miro, or similar tools.Strong analytical and research skills; confident with Excel and synthesising insights clearly.Structured approach to planning and prioritisation; reliable follow-through on deadlines.Curiosity about AI and eagerness to learn new tools quickly.High integrity, professionalism, and discretion when dealing with clients and handling sensitive information.German and English (both at least C1); Berlin-based or willing to relocate.Nice-to-HavesExperience in AI/SaaS, B2B services, or digital transformation projects.Exposure to client-facing service delivery.Low-code/no-code automation skills and workflow design.Design proficiency for presentations and collateral (Figma, Canva, PowerPoint).Event/workshop planning experience.Prior experience in an early-stage startup or similar environment.This is an exciting opportunity to apply your strategic thinking, operational rigor, and love for building organisations to help shape a fast-growing, human-centred AI company from the inside out—working side-by-side with the founders on initiatives that are the key focus of our growth.What we offerBenefitsOffice located directly at Backfabrik.Home Office: We are a team and value the personal face-to-face interaction.
