We are looking for a motivated and highly professional relationship builder with extensive experience from automotive aftermarket to join our team. The position is titled as Key Account Manager (m/f/x) Automotive. This position will be based in our location in Büdingen (near Frankfurt am Main) or can be managed from the home office. For example, from Hamburg, Nuremberg, Munich, Berlin or Stuttgart.

Key Account Manager (m/f/x) Automotive

Your tasks:
The KAM will be responsible for the day-to-day business together with the International Key Account Managers on International customers in the Dach region.
Frequently visiting branches and central purchasing teams in the region.
Delivering information and training to the customers and decision makers.
Collaborating with IKAM on Forecast, budgets and planning activities.
Be a partner to the customers and helping them develop their business together with Exide.
Be the local customers 1 point of contact responsible for 2-3 local/national customers in Dach.
Keep close contact to internal stakeholders and build relationships internal and external.
Carry out the strategic plan created by the company.
Bring knowledge and initiatives on improvements back from the field.


Your qualifications:
Well experienced in the Automotive sector with a minimum of 7 years of experience.
Strong business mind and entrepreneurship.
The ability to work both strategic and operational. To be able to work both on a long-term solution and quick fixes with fast decisions.
Technical knowledge and the ability to turn the knowledge into trainings for the customers.
Fluent in English and German mandatory, it's a big advantage speaking French on level B2.
You are well experienced with Microsoft Office and Excel in particular.
You understand that frequent traveling is a part of the job and are able to do so.
Experienced with remote work and colleagues spread over Europe.
Self-motivated.
Drivers license.


The position is a part of the International Key Accounts Team. You will report to the IKA Director based in Sweden initially with a dotted line to the regional Director and will after some time be transferred to reporting to one of International Key Account Managers in the DACH region. The IKA team in Exide is a high performing team with a team of extremely experienced individuals who are working closely to achieve success on a day to day basis. The IKA team is working with the biggest customers of the aftermarket in Europe. The sky is the limit and within Exide you have every possibility to reach the stars.
