We are looking for an experienced AWS Architect to design and implement robust, scalable, and secure cloud solutions for a Customer Data Platform (CDP). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AWS services, data engineering, and data warehousing concepts, coupled with expertise in building fault-tolerant and cost-effective architectures.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Architecture Design:
  • Design and architect AWS infrastructure solutions tailored to the Customer Data Platform (CDP) while ensuring alignment with business requirements, scalability, security, and cost-efficiency.
  • Define high-level architecture, including network topology (VPC), compute resources (EC2 instances), storage solutions (S3, EBS), and security controls (IAM, Security Groups).
  • Implementation & Collaboration:
  • Oversee the deployment of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, EMR, Glue, and Redshift for data ingestion, processing, and storage.
  • Collaborate with DevOps engineers to create and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Optimization & Compliance:
  • Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance, availability, and cost.
  • Ensure compliance with AWS security best practices and relevant data privacy and protection regulations.
  • Documentation & Best Practices:
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including architecture diagrams, deployment procedures, and best practices.


Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Technical Expertise:
  • Deep understanding of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, EMR, Redshift, and Glue.
  • Proficiency in data engineering and data warehousing concepts.
  • Strong knowledge of designing scalable and fault-tolerant cloud architectures.
  • Tools & Methodologies:
  • Hands-on experience with IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and optimization tools for AWS services.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience:
  • Proven track record in AWS architecture, including implementing data platforms and managing enterprise-level cloud solutions.
