My international client is looking for a Sales Manager to build up the German market as part of the leadership and founding team. With the responsibility of building up the field sales or direct sales structures from scratch, you will be jointly responsible for a strategically immensely important market for us from day 1 and will take on more personnel and management responsibility within a short time.


We are looking for an ambitious candidate who is willing to take responsibility for all our direct selling activities and implement an ambitious growth plan from scratch. This includes building your own team of Brand Ambassadors to meet in person at events (including markets, exhibitions and trade shows) where you explain the product and convince customers of our product. After a successful launch in Berlin in 2024, the Sales Manager role will evolve to lead a Germany-wide, multi-regional team and develop a strategy that will allow you to achieve ambitious growth plans in Germany.


Here's what you can expect in the role

  • The first 6 months you will spend a lot of time in the field to build our brand awareness through events and promotions and to be able to train new hires well
  • Become an expert in selling the product and pass on your knowledge to the team.
  • Build and develop your own team of Brand Ambassadors from scratch
  • To work directly with the Country Manager Germany and the UK Head of Sales to achieve ambitious growth targets.
  • Establish close lines of communication with the sales teams of GB&I and Benelux and incorporate learnings from them into your sales strategies
  • Own and optimize your KPIs beyond just selling.
  • To put the customer first and make sure that every customer leaves with a smile on their face.


A little about you:

  • Experience in (direct/field service/sales promoter/event) sales and sales training. Bonus if this experience is in the D2C (direct to consumer) industry.
  • Fluent or native German language skills, as well as good English skills
  • Experience in the development of small teams - at least 3 employees - as well as successful support in their growth and improvement.
  • Reporting is part of your day-to-day business - good Excel/Google Sheets/Looker skills.
  • Strong communication skills. You are not afraid of contact and enjoy talking to all members of the internal company and customers.
  • You stay calm even under pressure and are someone the team asks for advice when things get tough.
  • You have a driver's license
