At revyve, we are pioneering “A New World of Texture” with the next generation of sustainable food ingredients. Our mission is simple yet profound: to unlock the future of food using sustainable, high-performing texturizing ingredients. By harnessing the power of circularly sourced yeast, we are creating clean label solutions that mimic the performance of egg and dairy and remove the need for additives.

 

As we continue our rapid growth, we are excited to expand our team with an entrepreneurial and driven Sales Manager for the DACH region.

 

 

About revyve

Revyve is dedicated to developing high-value texturizing ingredients from yeast, aiming to replace animal-based ingredients like egg-whites and additives such as methylcellulose with sustainable vegan alternatives. Backed by over €15 million in venture capital, we’ve recently completed our demo plant and are on the path to Series B funding and achieving cashflow positivity. We are a diverse organization of 16-strong bright and fun members, valuing creativity, pragmatism and close collaboration.

 

What You’ll Do

At Revyve, you have a unique opportunity to launch a revolutionary ingredient line and drive it to profitability. Join our team just as our product has been validated with various customers, and commercial quantities become available. Your mission will be to build and expand our business in the DACH region, our most strategic and critical market.

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead all commercial activities in the DACH region, including:
  • Business development and lead generation
  • Acting as the central point-of-contact for all new and existing customers
  • Qualifying sales opportunities and managing CRM
  • Key account management
  • Liaising between customers, technical sales, and application specialists
  • Representing the company at industry events
  • Conducting market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth
  • Providing regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management
  • Collecting and analyzing customer feedback to improve product offerings
  • Managing budgets for marketing and sales activities within the region
  • Be a key member of the commercial team, contributing to commercial strategy and priorities
  • Serve as the voice of the customer, developing robust value propositions and exploring new applications for growth

 

 

 

Your Profile

  • Degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial roles within an ingredient company or distributor
  • Fluent in German with an existing industry network in the DACH region
  • Deep understanding of the ingredient industry’s technical and commercial complexities
  • Experience selling into categories such as meat and meat alternatives, sauces, bakery, appetizers is a plus
  • Proven track record in commercial activities for specialty ingredients; experience with texturizing ingredients is preferred
  • Excellent networking skills and ability to build relationships with industry stakeholders
  • Adaptable, self starter, independent, and thrive in a continuously evolving environment
  • Creative problem-solver with a pragmatic approach to business challenges
  • Collaborative spirit across the company (startup mentality) with a curiosity to the product and the new possibilities it can bring to the market
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both German and English
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools
  • Willingness to travel within the DACH region and occasionally internationally
  • Relevant certifications in sales, marketing, or food industry standards could be a plus
