ROLE: Senior Site Project Manager (Solar)

LOCATION: Hamburg (Hybrid) - 2 days per week in office

LANGUAGE: German (C2 or Native)


As Senior Site Project Manager, you will be an important part of my clients core team in Hamburg, working on a few key and exciting new projects.


Your Responsibilities

  • Leading the Site Management for a number of key new solar construction sites across Northern Germany
  • Preparation, supervision and follow-up of construction and commissioning work. Ensuring that PV Project Management
  • Participation in the process of preparing the schedule, selecting subcontractors, suppliers, carrying out the project until the end of the contract
  • Collaborating with investors, designers, subcontractors, and other technical teams on assignments
  • Participation in partial and final acceptance of construction works (with the investor/contracting authority/energy companies/subcontractors)
  • Ongoing reporting on the course and progress of project work
  • Carrying out the energization process and acceptance by the PINB
  • Participation in technical consultations at the stage of investment implementation


Required Skills:

  • 6-8 years of renewables Site or Project Management experience
  • 2-3 years of solar PV Site or Project Management experience (utility scale ground-mount is preferable)
  • C2 German or native / mother tongue
  • Engineering background (any engineering degree is great)
  • Be able to visit the office in Hamburg twice per week
