European Sales Lead

Key Responsibilities:


Sales:

  • Develop and implement account penetration strategies to maximize sales within the assigned territory.
  • Collaborate with Portfolio Management and Marketing teams to align sales plans with company strategy.
  • Define and refine sales pitches in conjunction with the Portfolio Management Department.
  • Implement pricing and business models consistent with global strategy, as directed by the VP Strategy.
  • Provide support to other sales managers in developing their international accounts within the region, as needed.
  • Lead the process of closing deals, ensuring the involvement of relevant internal stakeholders from other departments.


Bid Management:

  • Ensure that offerings are prepared in advance, ensuring they are valid, attractive, and profitable.
  • Propose bid strategies for accounts identified as strategic initiatives, considering parallel offerings from OEMs and Tier-1s.
  • Prepare compelling arguments for sales offers and contracts, seeking validation according to internal procedures.


Reporting:

  • Maintain an up-to-date sales pipeline and CRM system to provide complete transparency on sales activities.
  • Generate monthly reports on sales performance, enabling forecasting and aligning project management planning.


Team Management:

  • Define and assign objectives to Sales Managers, ensuring alignment with overall sales targets.
  • Translate objectives into quarterly action plans and action items for the current quarter.
  • Monitor and provide feedback on team performance, adjusting action plans as needed.
  • Recruit, motivate, and develop Sales Managers to maximize their potential.


Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in sales, including managing and developing international accounts within the Automotive industry in Europe.
  • Proven track record of success in selling software products, including successful deployment of new products and business models.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a deep understanding of the negotiation process.
  • International experience and a global mindset.
  • Highly customer-focused and driven to exceed expectations.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with frequent iterative changes.
  • Excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • German language skills are a plus.
