European Supply Chain Operations Leader

About Leon Cycle: Leon Cycle is a prominent e-bike enterprise founded in Germany, specializing in innovative electric bicycle solutions. Since its inception, the company has expanded its reach across more than 10 countries, including regions in Europe, North America, and the Asia-Pacific. Our diverse product lineup includes mountain bikes, folding e-bikes, trekking e-bikes, and step-through e-bikes, available through our online platform, e-commerce channels, and retail partnerships.

Position Overview: We are currently in search of a skilled professional to fill the role of European Supply Chain Operations Leader based in Düsseldorf. This pivotal position encompasses a variety of responsibilities:

  • Operational Management: Oversee and direct Leon Cycle's operational functions, including demand planning, warehousing, logistics, and after-sales customer service.
  • Collaborative Partnership: Work closely with Business Development and Retail Managers throughout Europe to ensure seamless supply chain operations and effective domestic logistics that support sales growth.
  • Inventory Coordination: Liaise with our team in China to monitor incoming stock levels, optimize warehouse space utilization, and maintain accurate inventory counts. Lead a team of logistics specialists as necessary.
  • Customer Support Leadership: Build, mentor, and manage a dedicated team of after-sales customer service representatives to address inquiries from both B2B and B2C channels, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and feedback.
  • Standard Operating Procedures: Develop and implement SOPs and protocols for the Customer Support team to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Returns Management: Supervise technicians and manage inventory returns, providing critical updates on product safety issues to the executive team.
  • Ad-hoc Operations: Address any additional operational tasks related to supply chain management as required.

Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 8-12 years of experience in operations management, with a focus on supply chain, logistics, warehousing, and customer support.
  • A background in retail, trading, or e-commerce environments.
  • A proven track record of leading small teams effectively.
  • Fluency in English and Chinese.
  • The capability to establish, direct, and manage operational teams across various functions.
  • A strong leadership mindset complemented by hands-on execution skills.
  • Experience in small to mid-sized businesses, demonstrating the ability to multitask efficiently.
