Executive Head of Quality Management

Our client is an innovative leader in hydrogen technology who are devoted to advancing sustainable energy.
They are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Head of Quality Management to lead their quality control and assurance initiatives.
Your Main Responsibilities:
- Create, put into practice, and uphold a strong QMS in compliance with industry standards (such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001).
- Lead efforts for continual improvement to raise operational effectiveness and product quality.
- Assure that QMS documentation is up to date and distributed throughout the company in an efficient manner.
- Verify adherence to all applicable standards and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate with certification and regulatory organisations to keep approvals and certifications current.
- Update firm procedures in accordance with regulatory and standard changes by keeping up to current.
- Direct all activities related to quality assurance and control, including as audits, testing, and inspections.
- To guarantee the integrity of the product and the process, implement and oversee quality control procedures.
- Oversee the processes for root cause analysis and corrective action to deal with quality problems.
- Promote a culture of quality and ongoing improvement by serving as the team's leader and mentor.
- Train staff members on quality management techniques and protocols and offer assistance as needed.
- Encourage engagement and quality awareness throughout the entire organisation.
- Create and implement supplier quality management systems to guarantee that incoming components and materials meet strict requirements.
- Perform assessments and audits of suppliers in order to gauge and enhance their performance.
- Closely collaborate with clients to comprehend their expectations for quality and resolve any issues pertaining to it.
- Ascertain that efforts aimed at improving quality incorporate input from customers.
- To track quality performance, develop and keep an eye on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Create and provide quality reports on a regular basis to top management, emphasising important trends and corrective measures.
Your Qualifications and Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in quality management, engineering, or a similar discipline. A masters degree is ideal.
- 10+ years experience in quality management, ideally in the hydrogen or a similar field.
- Thorough understanding of QMS standards, including ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001.
- Excellent team management and leadership abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Having a quality management certification (such as CQE or CQM/OE) is advantageous.
