Description：

As a leading bank from Taiwan in international banking, First Commercial Bank, Ltd. has a presence in more than 11 countries with more than 30 overseas branches across the world. To expand our global banking services, our Frankfurt Branch in Germany has started its operation in 2023. To build up a firm operation and develop a prosperous business we are looking for a qualified Risk Officer for Risk Management Department to join our team.


Task：

Support Risk Manager in relation to Branch’s Risk Management function with following main tasks:

  • Support and report to Risk Manager for overall risk controls, including ICAAP, Credit, and Liquidity risk management, etc. in accordance with the Risk Management Policy & Procedure and Risk Strategy
  • Assist in the Branch’s liquidity management to ensure compliance with all regulatory capital and liquidity requirements, including LCR, HQLA, NSFR and RTF reports
  • Assist in and comply with the liquidity and interest rate sensitivity gap ratios according to the Bank’s regulation
  • Ensure that the Bank’s credit standards and relevant regulations are followed
  • Assist in monitoring the credit exposures of the existing customer / credit portfolio
  • Identify risks, weaknesses and strengths, and communicates concerns in relation to credit risk management processes to management.
  • Work closely with the Customer Relationship Management department in order to monitor any new or additional borrowing on a proactive basis
  • Assist in the problem loan management in accordance with the Branch’s Credit Risk Management Policy and other regulations
  • Prepare the agenda of the Risk Management Committee Meeting and meeting minutes
  • Assist in reviewing and revising the Polices & Procedures and corporate documents in the relevant area according to the regulatory and Head Office’s requirements
  • German & English Speaking


Profile Requirement：

  • University or equivalent degree in the banking or financial related field;
  • At least 2 years of banking experience especially in credit and risk management area;
  • Sufficient experiences of perform ICAAP standard approach and relevant analysis, reports is a plus;
  • A team player with strong communication skills;
  • Review, revise and maintain the Polices & Procedures and corporate documents in the relevant area updated, according to the regulatory and Head Office’s requirements.
  • Hold long-term German working permit
  • Fluent German and English, knowledge of Mandarin is a plus.
