Altius Talent are working with a global freight forwarder searching for an Air & Sea Area Sales Manager to cover the North of Germany. Due to the coverage of the position the successful applicant can be based out of Bremen, Cologne, Dusseldorf, Hamburg or Hanover.
Key Responsibilities
- Directing a sales team to meet sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Independently devising and implementing corrective actions
- Contributing to the development and execution of the business plan
- Fostering employee growth and development
- Managing and coordinating offers and bids in collaboration with product teams
- Creating efficient, customized business solutions for customers with input from various departments
- Driving new business, maintaining close relationships with key accounts, and overseeing customer interactions at all levels
- Acting as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
- Extensive experience in freight forwarding sales – Air & Sea
- Several years of experience leading freight teams (Branch/Ops/Sales)
- Successfully completed a degree in Business Studies
- Proficient in economic analysis and thinking
- Excellent organizational skills
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office
- Fluent in German and English
- Confident, self-assured, and professional character
- Strong initiative and ability to work independently
- Highly flexible and committed
Package
- Base Salary of €100,000
- Commission structure with OTE of €30,000
