Territory Manager – Chemistry/Material Science

About the Role:
Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Territory Manager to oversee sales and customer relationships for their advanced analytical instruments in North Germany. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in scientific instruments, exceptional sales acumen, and a passion for fostering client partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets within the territory.
- Manage and grow relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
- Provide technical expertise and support to clients, demonstrating the value and capabilities of our client’s analytical instruments.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions for customers and prospects.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to strategically position our client’s products.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional activities and campaigns.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Material Sciences, Physics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven sales experience in the analytical instruments or scientific equipment industry would be a big plus.
- Strong technical knowledge of analytical instruments(thermal analysis)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluency in German and English.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the territory.
