RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and coordinate commercial, technical, financial, and legal expertise from clients and internally, ensuring compliance with clients' governance and approval procedures.
- Deliver maximum value to clients in terms of quality, price, and schedule while minimizing risks.
- Produce comprehensive tender documents outlining client requirements for the market.
- Lead and manage the complete procurement process, including issuing RFIs, RFPs, and tenders, evaluating proposals, recommending shortlists, and finalizing contracts. Ensure transparency and traceability throughout the process.
- Identify all value items within the foundation supply scope and their interfaces with related scopes (WTG supply, T&I supply, etc.). Set the tender strategy with well-defined shortlisting, selection, and awarding criteria.
- Ensure all necessary information is considered (e.g., risk exposures, price adjustments) for accurate comparison of tender responses. Manage supplier communications to obtain qualitative and quantitative inputs for RFPs.
- Coordinate information flow internally and externally, keeping all stakeholders (technical, finance, legal) informed on progress
- Finalize commercial and contractual deals, managing exceptions with legal and main stakeholders to secure the best value while minimizing risks.
- Actively manage vendor relationships through regular communications and meetings, maintaining and improving vendor and market knowledge.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field of study.
- Experience in a similar role, preferably within a matrix organization.
- Experience in the onshore wind, offshore wind, or offshore renewable energy industry. Experience with major infrastructure and energy projects is welcomed.
- Expertise in leading and managing procurement and tender processes.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
- A structured and methodical approach to work.
- Ability to manage projects and lead negotiations effectively.
