Key Responsibilities:
Spearhead the global optimization of strategic procurement for transport services, ensuring alignment with the overarching corporate strategy while upholding high standards for cost, quality, and availability. Facilitate the strategic planning, coordination, and execution of procurement initiatives in collaboration with regional procurement teams and local experts. Provide methodological and functional leadership to procurement divisions globally, working in close partnership with global category managers to maintain consistency and excellence. Deliver advanced methodological and operational support to regional teams, focusing on cost-saving initiatives and tender processes to enhance efficiency and savings. Monitor and control global KPIs for procurement, offering essential support to regions during their annual budget planning cycles. Ensure effective communication with senior management and all relevant stakeholders.Required Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in strategic procurement, showcasing a strong track record in global optimization and cost management. Proficiency in implementing diverse negotiation strategies (e.g., eAuctions). Strong project management capabilities, including experience in global team collaboration, timeline management, and stakeholder engagement. Willingness to assume supervisory responsibilities within the team structure. High level of engagement with a strong focus on achieving objectives independently. Excellent analytical and communication skills. Business fluency in English. Proficient in MS Office, with COUPA skills being an advantage; experience in multinational and multicultural environments is desirable.
