About the Team

The Corporate Sales Development (CSD) team is made up of sales professionals developing the pipeline and supporting the field sales organization for the Workday suite of products.

The engagement model is highly qualitative, with interactions at the VP and C-Level, proposing a disruptive and global solution.

This role reports into the DACH Head of Corporate Sales Development in the global Sales Operations organization.

Scope and Growth

Initially you will be responsible for a region in EMEA . In time, there are opportunities for growth either into a broader role within the sales organization or in other areas of the growing business in Europe.

About You

To empower your team and be successful in this role, your management style will need to line up with Workday's core values - focused on putting people first.

We're looking for someone energetic and self-motivated, organized and detail-oriented as well as:

Basic Requirement

  • 2-5 years experience in a Sales Manager role with leadership responsibilities
  • Language skills: Fluency in German and English required (additional French skills a plus)
  • Recent experience and proven ability to develop a prospect pipeline through outbound prospecting and engaging business executives
  • Experience building and maintaining remote relationship with stakeholders across different teams and countries
  • Proven ability to coach and mentor - this is a player/coach role for someone who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves to get the job done

Other Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent account management skills, including the ability to analyse, position and qualify opportunities
  • Entrepreneurial, creative, and highly analytical
  • Knowledge of Salesforce
  • Knowledge of Outreach, Gong & Tableau a plus
  • Willingness to travel when necessary
