In the design area of the Mercedes-Benz Technology Center, we shape the future generations of automobiles.
As an intern, you will play a key role in the development and decision-making processes for future interior concepts. Some of the challenges you'll tackle include:
- Technical validation of design models
- Concept creation and CAD modeling
- Visualizing concepts and preparing presentation documents
- Contributing to the development of interior and UI concepts
- Analysing design and supplier data for package investigations
- Creating design drawings for model construction
- Monitoring model development progress
- Researching current and future competitors & innovations
Qualifications:
- Degree in automotive engineering, mechanical engineering & design, product development, or related fields
- Proficiency in CAD and IT tools like Siemens NX, ICEM Surf, AUTODESK ALIAS, Blender
- Experience with visualization tools such as AUTODESK VRED, Adobe Tools is an advantage
- Strong written and spoken skills in German and English
- Proficient in MS Office
- Commitment, teamwork, creativity, and analytical mindset
- Interest in automotive design and technical understanding
- Affinity for the product is desirable
