PURPOSE

The Sales Development team develops best-in-class and future oriented tools, processes, policies and guidance to enable the markets to achieve operational excellence and commercial success. As part of the Sales Development team you will act as reliable, supportive and visionary partner for all markets globally as well as the Global Sales/ Wholesale Senior Leadership team.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive the digital transformation of our Wholesale business to support growth & efficiency in Sales and Customer service and to create a premium customer experience as part of our strategic initiatives
  • Act as a Global WHS expert and contact for markets for the Digitalization of our WHS business and the digital WHS tools (CLICK, Digital Showroom, Marketing cloud, analytics, ASSIST)
  • Ensure best-class E2E Sales process design in collaboration with other functions (CS&D, MB/GBS, Finance, Account operations, DSS, Brand) by identifying best-practice and innovation opportunities to enable growth and profitability of our Wholesale business
  • Ensure the implementation of managed tools and related initiatives in order to achieve defined objectives and consult markets on business processes & compliance
  • Run commercial assessments of markets and create gameplans for the roll-out of managed tools and processes and manage change as part of roll-outs & enable the markets to drive adoption of the tools
  • Prioritize & address global demand/ roll-outs based on global strategy and business cases
  • Manage x-functional Global Sales projects with the focus on developing the go-to-market process and service approach enabling the markets to achieve operational excellence and commercial success
  • Develop the future operating model of Sales and Customer Service and drive organizational and process change management in the markets through trainings and best-practice sharing
  • Ensure creation & distribution of coms and training material for managed tool to markets
  • Implement a high standard and agile approach to project & change management and effective communication methodology
  • Build trustworthy relationships and an effective and collaborative network across channels and departments

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Sales experience in international SGI, FMCG and/ or consulting company
  • Operational Wholesale Market experience (e.g. Sales/ Customer Service) is a plus
  • High degree of commercial knowledge and business acumen
  • Strong understanding of Wholesale processes, KPIs and ability to influence others
  • Strong interpersonal skills (e.g. communication, facilitation, negotiation)
  • Demonstrable analytical, planning and organizational skills (e.g. project management and strategic development)
  • Ability to deal with complexity and ambiguity & Creative, open-minded and agile team player
  • Fluent in written and spoken English. Skills and abilities in another language are a benefit

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • University degree in business, ideally with Sales/Marketing or Retail focus
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in the sporting goods or comparable industry
  • Cross-functional experience ideally with Marketing/ Finance/ Global Operations/ SCM
  • Experience within different countries and/or different cultures
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in Project Management
  • Experience in Business Systems & Processes (SAP, CRM, B2B) preferred
