We are already working today on vehicles that will secure the Mercedes-Benz Group's technological leadership in the future.
Our team works across all projects on the topic of on-board diagnostics (OBD) for Mercedes-AMG engines, both the highly emotional conventional drives and the performance hybrids. In particular, we are responsible for the functions of the OBD fault memory and Generic Scan Tool communication. We also coordinate OBD development across projects in collaboration with the relevant specialist departments and ensure the highest possible quality of diagnostic functions in future products. In the future, we will also provide support in the validation and validation of on-board diagnostics (OBD) for battery-electric Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
As an intern, you will face the following challenges, among others:
You will support the setup of OBD validation in virtual environments (SiL/HiL) You will help with the inspection, evaluation and preparation of validation tests You will be involved in the development of the testing strategy for OBD scopes in MB.OS B You design a Kanban board to increase the efficiency of work processes You are responsible for the automation of work steps within the team Qualifikationen Degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, electrical engineering, computer science or similar Enjoy programming (e.g. in VBA, Python and/or Matlab) Experience in the field of on-board diagnostics is an advantage Interest in the automotive industry and vehicle diagnostics Ability to work in a team and independently Confident written and spoken German and English skillsPlease note that your internship at this location must include a prescribed mandatory component.
