Mandatory internship in Powertrain Prototype Program Planning

Mercedes-Benz Group AG is one of the most successful automotive companies in the world. With Mercedes-Benz AG, the vehicle manufacturer is one of the largest suppliers of premium and luxury cars and vans.
The Center RD/E is a test and competence center in Research & Development and is responsible for the construction of development units and for the Powertrain test field. Along the product development process, RD/EPM is responsible for the entire hardware process chain for RD/E drive development, from procurement logistics and assembly to testing in the test field and vehicle integration. This includes the entire product range of conventional and alternative drive technologies.

Then we are looking for you to make an active contribution to the planning and implementation of the prototype development program with us as part of your mandatory internship
We are a highly motivated and dynamic team that acts as an interface between the drive and vehicle projects and ensures that the ideas and innovations of our drive concepts become reality.
You will be involved in the planning of prototypes and the feasibility of the build-up program and help to realize the new product portfolio of Mercedes-Benz Cars.
You will face these challenges:
Collaboration on current new innovative drive systems Creating reports and evaluations to visualize the development program Analyzing planning changes, deriving recommendations for action and reviewing the impact of decisions at strategic and operational level Further development of the current tracking tools Creating evaluations, analyses and decision papers for management Collaboration with the team leader on administrative tasksWhat we can offer:
An overall view of the interaction in new product projects in the company as well as planning know-how in prototype development We are a team with a large number of internal interfaces (development, trades, control, procurement, etc.), which gives you access to a large network at Mercedes-Benz You will receive regular feedback for your personal development and the contribution of your own ideas and suggestions for improvement is always important to us Qualifikationen Degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, business administration or a comparable course of study Proficient in written and spoken German and English Confident handling of MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) Commitment and ability to work in a team Analytical mindset and strategic way of workingPlease note that your internship at this location must include a mandatory component.
