Commercial Director (m/f/d)
Scope of position:
As the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for driving the company's commercial strategy and maximizing business growth. This is a key leadership position that requires a strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in driving revenue and profit growth.
Responsibilities:
Understanding market conditions and industry trends, as well as business operations to inform business marketing and sales strategy. Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to enter new markets. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand the needs of current customers and devise and implement customer acquisition strategies. Developing, planning and implementing strategies that align with business goals to promote growth. Develop and implement the company's commercial strategy to achieve revenue and profit targets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution of commercial initiatives. Lead and manage the sales team to drive sales performance and meet sales targets. Conduct regular performance analysis and reporting to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.Requirements:
Proven experience in a senior commercial role for high-tech capital investment products, preferably in the laser machine tool industry. Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent negotiation and communication skills with a customer-centric approach Solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a results-oriented mindset. Experience in developing and implementing successful business growth strategies that align with the corporate aims of the business. A business qualification – BSc/BA/ MSc/MA in business administration or a relevant field.What we are offering:
