The plug-in hybrid vehicles (EQ Power) represent a significant contribution to ever more efficient and sustainable mobility at Mercedes-Benz. They combine a purely electric driving experience on daily commutes with an efficient combustion engine drive on longer journeys. Due to its complexity, the development of electrified powertrains represents a special challenge that combines many exciting topics from the field of electromobility with those of conventional drive systems.
You will work in our operating strategy team, which is mainly responsible for the functional development of the operating strategy software in the vehicle and for the application and release in Mercedes hybrid vehicles. We are a young, motivated team that has been supported for years by interns, graduates and doctoral students. In this team, we combine scientific research topics with practical series development and use prototype vehicles, (roller) test benches and the possibilities of simulation tools.
These are some of the challenges you will face:
Planning and supervision of vehicle and test bench tests Evaluation and analysis of measurement results Development and expansion of automated evaluation routines Preparation of prototype vehicles Qualifikationen Degree in automotive engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, computer science or comparable course of study Knowledge of Matlab/Simulink desirable Knowledge of ETAS INCA/MDA advantageous Confident handling of MS Office Commitment and ability to work in a team Analytical mindset and strategic way of working Confident written and spoken German and English skillsAdditional information
