Development Internship in Energy Efficiency for Hybrid Vehicles

Position Overview:
This internship focuses on the research and development of plug-in hybrid vehicles, which play a crucial role in advancing sustainable mobility solutions. You will engage with both electric and combustion engine technologies, gaining valuable insights into the complexities of modern powertrains.
Department:
The role is situated within the operational strategy team, dedicated to the functional development of vehicle operating strategy software and its implementation in hybrid models.
Key Responsibilities:
As an intern, you will be tasked with:
- Planning and overseeing vehicle and test bench evaluations
- Analyzing and interpreting measurement data
- Developing and enhancing automated analysis procedures
- Preparing prototype vehicles for testing
- Participating in test drives and application assessments
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess:
- A degree in automotive engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field
- Familiarity with Matlab/Simulink is preferred
- Experience with ETAS INCA/MDA is advantageous
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Strong command of both German and English, written and spoken
- An analytical mindset with a strategic approach to problem-solving
- A commitment to teamwork and collaboration
