The Labor and Social Law department is part of the Human Resources division of Mercedes-Benz Group AG. We are responsible for all employment and social law advice for HR functions within the Group and for managing proceedings before the employment and social courts. We also support the Board of Management in all collective bargaining matters and are involved in all personnel policy issues, including negotiations with the relevant employee representatives.

Apply your knowledge to our corporate practice and let us benefit from it together. Draw up expert opinions on various legal issues or conduct targeted research on various problems. Take part in negotiations before the labor courts, in meetings with business partners and in internal company presentations.The prerequisite for employment is the supervision of the doctoral project by a university lecturer. You are responsible for selecting a suitable supervisor.
The final topic will be determined in consultation with the university, you and us.
Qualifikationen First state examination in law with above-average results Proficient in written and spoken German and English Confident handling of MS Office Commitment and ability to work in a team Basic knowledge of labor or social law Supervision agreement with a university lecturer for your doctoral projectAdditional information:
