Mandatory internship in the field of social media governance from September 2024

The social media landscape at Mercedes-Benz AG is colorful and diverse. Every day, we communicate with our international customers and followers via numerous channels such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc. But how do we actually create the right framework around all these activities?
Become part of our Social Media Governance team and support us in your six-month mandatory internship starting in September 4 to set the right international guidelines for social media activities in our Group. As an intern in our team, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for your own small project for the duration of your internship. We are happy to take your wishes and interests into account when assigning projects.
These are some of the challenges you will face
Supporting the global social media governance team in the daily consultation of all social media and marketing managers e.g. evaluating requests for posts, assessing assets (texts and images) to be played out on the Mercedes-Benz channels Collaboration in the further development of the social intranet community and the social media governance newsletter as well as in the creation of editorial contributions and guidelines Support in the strategic and content-related further development of the social media governance function, including internationalization Support and management of the social media activities database (database to ensure transparency across all Mercedes-Benz AG social media channels) Collaboration in the conception and organization of internal and external webinars and workshops Support in the creation and preparation of management presentations Qualifikationen Degree in communications, humanities, social sciences or economics, media management, media economics, journalism or a comparable course of study Confident written and spoken German and English skills Confident handling of MS Office, especially PowerPoint Personal skills: Commitment and ability to work in a team, analytical mindset and strategic way of working Texting and spelling skills, very good feeling for language and writing Willingness to perform, strategic and networked thinking, confident and friendly demeanor, careful way of working, curiosity, sense of responsibility and high level of initiativeOther:
