Our team at the Sindelfingen site is responsible for the production of the Z1 bodyshell for the E-Class and GLC.

We produce the substructure and the complete body structure. This involves assembling sheet metal parts into a body in several production stages according to a specified joining sequence. Our team consists of highly motivated and friendly colleagues who look forward to your support. We always work for each other & with each other, with passion and in harmony. We attach great importance to communicating with each other on an equal footing, directly and in regular meetings. It is also important to us that we deal with each other constructively and honestly. We work with state-of-the-art technologies and international project partners.

You will face these challenges:

Collaboration in continuous improvement processes and workshops Supporting the operational production environment Stabilization and further development of production processes in the context of joining connections/technology and the clamping and fixing concept Independent development of various special projects Development of specific measures to increase efficiency Collaboration in the day-to-day business of the team in the context of series production Preparation of documents / documentation for management and project management (e.g. reports, protocols) Maintaining various interfaces with the responsible persons and colleagues in the respective area of work Qualifikationen Degree in mechanical engineering, ideally specializing in production engineering / manufacturing technology, industrial engineering or a comparable course of study Proficient in written and spoken German and English Confident handling of MS Office Commitment and ability to work in a team Analytical mindset and technical understanding Structured thinking desirable, practical orientation, team and communication skills as well as independence
