50Hertz ist einer der vier Übertragungsnetzbetreiber in Deutschland. Wir transportieren Strom auf Höchstspannungsebene. Zusammen mit dem belgischen Stromnetzbetreiber Elia (Brüssel) bilden wir die international tätige Elia Group. Die gut 1.600 Mitarbeiter*innen des Unternehmens schaffen etwas, was viele bis vor kurzem noch für unmöglich hielten: Energiewende mit hohem Tempo voranbringen und gleichzeitig Versorgungssicherheit hochhalten.
Der Betrieb, Ausbau und die Instandhaltung des Übertragungsnetzes sowie der zugehörigen Umspannwerke, Schaltanlagen und Leitungen werden von unseren Regionalzentren aus organisiert. Eins davon ist das Regionalzentrum Mitte mit seinem Standort in Neuenhagen (bei Berlin).

Hier steuere und überwache ich von der lokalen Steuerungswarte aus die Höchstspannungsanlagen im Verantwortungsbereich meines Regionalzentrums.
Das macht den Job für mich interessant: In dieser Position übernehme ich am „Technischen Überwachungsplatz“, der lokalen Steuerungsstelle des Regionalzentrums, die Betreiberverantwortung für die Höchstspannungsanlagen im Regionalzentrum Mitte. Zusammen mit der zentralen Leitstelle von 50Hertz, dem Control Centre bin ich dabei für die sichere Betriebs- und Netzführung, im Früh-, Spät- und Bereitschaftsdienst zuständig.
Meine Aufgaben
In enger Zusammenarbeit mit den Fachkolleg*innen des Regionalzentrums erfolgt die Einarbeitung und der Erwerb der Anlagenkenntnis, so kann ich später vom Technischen Überwachungsplatz aus die Situation vor Ort und die dort nötigen Maßnahmen einschätzen und bewerten.
