Guest Relations Manager & Manager on Duty (m/f/d)

***work permit for EU/Germany and German language skills are mandatory***

The Munich Marriott City West sets new benchmarks and standards in meetings & events. Inspired by the Bavarian lifestyle and with 398 guest rooms and suites and nearly 5000 sqm of public space, including a state-of-the-art conference center, customized and first-class event needs are put into practice. The upscale concept includes the Italian restaurant & Vineria Assoluto with open show kitchen, the Assoluto Caffe and the Westhub Lounge & Bar, offering an outstanding culinary offering combined with warm hospitality in a stylish ambience. Our guests are also delighted by the spectacular roof terrace and MClub Lounge with panoramic views over the city, all the way to the Bavarian Alps. The hotel is located in the lively Westend, centrally located in the immediate vicinity of Munich's Old Town and within walking distance of the famous Oktoberfest grounds.

Who we are looking for...

You are a host, problem solver and eagle eye all in one You are someone with a lot of experience in daily hotel operations, have a knack for guests and are attentive in everything you do. You are hands-on during your Manager on Duty duties and nothing escapes you during your daily security rounds. You are creative in delighting our guests every time and work with the Quality Team to implement our standards and achieve a high level of guest satisfaction.

What your responsibilities are...

You have a talent for communication and are in constant contact with our guests You are responsible for the VIP care of our guests You independently develop methods and processes to increase guest satisfaction and also take current trends into account You are present with the guests, are interested in their experiences and are a professional in the field of complaint management  As a manager on duty, you are "hands-on" and lend a hand in the various departments when help is needed You are present as a "host" in the guest areas You evaluate our guest comments, keep an eye on our results, communicate them and derive measures and trends from them You make daily safety tours through the entire building, document safety-relevant points and take care of their implementation You are familiar with both the company's internal and legal safety regulations and put them into practice You are a real team player with all hotel departments and the leadership team

You have already gained relevant experience in the area of reception, guest relation or management in a hotel You have a fantastic appearance, are charming and convince with your professionalism You are an experienced leader with a confident and calm demeanor You are a communication talent with very good German and English skills Your winning appearance, your can-do attitude and hands-on mentality are a natural part of your personality Your willingness to perform inspires your team to peak performance and as a true team player you support the leadership team professionally with your expertise and advice You have a work permit for the EU/Germany
