Das Label Vertigo/Capitol kümmert sich um die Entdeckung und den Aufbau vielversprechender nationaler und internationaler Künstler:innen sowie die Betreuung und Weiterentwicklung bereits etablierter Acts. Hier werden Trends gesetzt, Newcomer aufgebaut, erfolgreiche Künstler:innen bei ihrer kreativen Entfaltung unterstützt und deutsche sowie internationale Acts zu europäischen Topthemen gemacht. 

Das Artist Roster von Vertigo/Capitol umfasst eine Vielzahl an Künstler:innen aus dem Bereich Alternative und Deutschrap wie zum Beispiel: Ski Aggu, Badmómzjay, Shirin David, Bonez MC, Jeremias, Lewis Capaldi, Bosse, Giant Rooks, Scorpions und Volbeat.

Du möchtest Teil unseres Teams werden? Dann werde unser neuer Head of A&R (all genders) für das Label Vertigo/Capitol. Die Position ist ab sofort am Standort Berlin verfügbar. Es handelt sich um eine unbefristete Anstellung in Vollzeit. 


Deine Aufgaben: 

  • Du übernimmst die fachliche sowie disziplinarische Leitung unseres A&R Teams – hierzu gehört auch die Rekrutierung neuer sowie die Entwicklung bestehender Teammitglieder
  • Gemeinsam mit den Vice Presidents von Vertigo/Capitol arbeitest Du an der strategischen musikalischen Ausrichtung des Labels 
  • Du führst Vertragsverhandlungen 
  • Du bist zuständig für die kreative und strategische Beratung von Künstler:innen und Karrieren - hierbei legst Du künstlerische Zielsetzungen, unter der Berücksichtigung wirtschaftlicher Ziele, fest
  • Du erweiterst das jeweilige Produktrepertoire und findest neue Talente in neuen Szenen sowie über sämtliche relevante Kommunikationsformen
  • Du trägst Budgetverantwortung für die A&R Tätigkeiten des Labels


Diese fachlichen Anforderungen erfüllst Du: 

  • Du bringst mehrjährige Erfahrungen im A&R-Bereich und Marketing mit
  • Innerhalb Deiner Laufbahn hast Du entweder (erste) Erfahrungen als Führungskraft sammeln können oder konntest anderweitig die für diese Rolle relevante Kompetenzen erlangen
  • Du kennst Dich in der Musikszene bestens aus und hast ein umfassendes Netzwerk an Produzent:innen, Künstler:innen und Dienstleister:innen im In- und Ausland
  • In der Musikbranche bist Du zu Hause und Du verfügst über breite Repertoirekenntnisse
  • Du verfügst über sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift

  • Als Führungskraft befähigst Du, verfolgst gemeinsam mit Deinem Team Ziele und verlierst dabei nie den Blick für dieses sowie das Miteinander innerhalb dessen
  • Deinen Blick auf das Team nutzt Du genauso auch, um dieses zu entwickeln und individuelle Kompetenzen richtig einzusetzen
  • Musik ist Deine Leidenschaft und „digital Lifestyle“ Dein Alltag - daher bist Du stets up-to-date über aktuelle News zu Stars & Trends, bist kreativ und hast ein Gespür für den nächsten großen Trend 
  • Du gehst gerne auf Menschen zu, bist kommunikationsstark und kannst Dich sehr gut auf verschiedene Charaktere und Situationen einstellen - der Umgang mit Artists und Artist Managements ist Dir nicht fremd
  • Du verfügst über ein sehr gutes Verhandlungsgeschick und konntest dies bereits im Verhandeln mit Artist und Business Partner:innen unter Beweis stellen 
  • Du findest Dich sehr gut in einem Team zurecht und gewinnst – auch in Deiner Rolle als Führungskraft - aufgrund Deines integrativen, empathischen und kommunikativen Wesens schnell das Vertrauen der Kolleg:innen und Partner:innen
