Sales Development Manager Refrigeration Compressors

Responsibilities:

Strategic and operational responsibility for the development of Klueber‘s refrigeration compressor business

Obtain market insights and evaluate potentials in the relevant KLx, including the identification of the relevant market players and their respective business models

Develop country/ regional specific competitor analyses and draw proper conclusions & decision models

Define business models and prepare qualified product value arguments together with the KLx to turn refrigeration compressor potentials & prospects into sales

Identify relevant refrigeration compressor OEMs and packagers, evaluate their potentials and develop business

Compile customer specific competitor analyses and penetration strategies

Conduct successful price negotiations (especially with global players)

Support KLx with the selection of the local GBT-C members based on the GBT-qualification matrix

Support and enable the local GBT-C members in all relevant KLx to identify, select, and handle relevant (can be global, regional, or local) OEMs, packagers, service companies, distributors, and end-users

Support and enable local GBT-C members to select and build proper sales channels (incl. but not limited to distributors) in their countries/ region to meet the required growth expectations

Continuously evaluate and update the product portfolio for refrigeration compressors based on market requirements (i.e. initiate new developments and actively manage the portfolio, including product cancelation, compilation of PIs and other relevant marketing and sales materials)

Use CRM, especially for opportunity Management and value case studies/ success stories

Conceptualize, realize, and coordinate relevant national and international marketing activities for our refrigeration compressor business

Project management (new developments, sales projects, special projects) and draw decisions/ decision criteria based on project results

Participate in global compressor meetings and support regional ones

Qualifications:

Graduate engineer (technical university, university of applied sciences), preferably specialising in mechanical engineering, industrial engineer, business economist or equivalent knowledge and skills – or similar qualification

Several years of experience in the field of sales&application, marketing, product management – preferably in the compressors industry

Good command of both written and spoken English and German

Willingness to travel (approx. 30 %)
