System Engineer Earth Observation (m/f/d)
Your Tasks
In thePredevelopment Directorate we are working on mission and system designs forcomplete space missions and payloads for Earth observation,science, space transportation, exploration and robotics. The main objective ofthe job is the technical support in the definition and design of space missionsand satellite-based Earth Observation systems.

Your Qualifications
Completed studies (Diploma or Master) in aerospace engineering or equivalent qualification Competencies in space mission design, satellite systems engineering and spacecraft subsystem design Knowledge of mission analysis Understanding of Earth Observation remote sensing principles (optical and microwave) would be an asset Good conceptual and analytical skills Experience with applicable standards (ECSS) is desirable Ability to devise creative solutions and think out-of-the-box High level of flexibility, willingness to work in international teams and ability to keep tight schedules High motivation, pro-active working approach and strong sense of responsibility Excellent communication, presentation and documentation skills Fluency in both spoken and written (business)English
