Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager (m/f/d) to join our Earth Observation domain. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the development and build of a Satellite. You will establish, manage, and maintain the project team, ensuring financial, schedule, and technical tasks are completed on time. You will be the main interface for the customer and subcontractors, supporting the establishment of proposals for institutional and commercial customers.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage a Satellite Project within our Earth Observation domain
- Establish, manage, and maintain the project team
- Manage financial, schedule, and technical tasks
- Ensure project targets are achieved with your team
- Main interface for the customer and subcontractors
- Support proposal establishment for institutional and commercial customers
- Regularly interact and align with line departments
- Support targeting new opportunities and customers
- Contribute to the development and realization of new solutions for innovative satellites
- Report to company stakeholders
Your Qualifications
- Completed studies in aerospace-engineering, or any relevant engineering discipline, or physics or similar qualification, complemented by economics study or relevant experience
- Very good technical and economic understanding, and analytical and soft skills
- Very good understanding of economic aspects, like cost calculation & cost control and capability to balance between quality, cost, and schedule
- Several years professional experience in similar positions in B/C/D space projects
- High sense of responsibility
- Solution-oriented approach
- Well-organized
- Good communication skills in German and English language
- Very good Team working skills and motivation capabilities
- Willingness to consciously learn and broaden your experience
