Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our Earth Observation domain team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the development and build of a Satellite project. Your tasks will include:

  • Establishing, managing, and maintaining the project team
  • Managing financial, schedule, and technical tasks
  • Ensuring project targets are achieved with your team
  • Being the main interface for the customer and subcontractors
  • Supporting the establishment of proposals for institutional and commercial customers
  • Regularly interacting and aligning with line departments
  • Supporting the targeting of new opportunities and customers
  • Contributing to the development and realization of new solutions for innovative satellites
  • Reporting to company stakeholders

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Completed studies in aerospace engineering, or a relevant engineering discipline, or physics, or a similar qualification, complemented by economics studies or relevant experience
  • Very good technical and economic understanding, and analytical and soft skills
  • Very good understanding of economic aspects, such as cost calculation and cost control, and the ability to balance between quality, cost, and schedule
  • Several years of professional experience in similar positions in B/C/D space projects
  • High sense of responsibility
  • Solution-oriented approach
  • Well-organized
  • Good communication skills in German and English language
  • Very good team-working skills and motivation capabilities
  • Willingness to consciously learn and broaden your experience
