Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager (m/f/d) to join our Earth Observation domain. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the development and build of a Satellite project. You will establish, manage, and maintain the project team, responsible for financial, schedule, and technical tasks, and ensure the project targets are achieved with your team.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage a Satellite project from conception to delivery
- Establish and lead a project team, ensuring effective collaboration and communication
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality, cost, and schedule requirements
- Act as the main interface for customers and subcontractors
- Support the establishment of proposals for institutional and commercial customers
- Interact and align with line departments to ensure project success
- Contribute to the development and realization of new solutions for innovative satellites
Your Qualifications
- Completed studies in aerospace engineering, physics, or a relevant engineering discipline, or economics
- Excellent technical and economic understanding, analytical and soft skills
- Strong understanding of economic aspects, including cost calculation and cost control
- Several years of professional experience in similar positions in B/C/D space projects
- High sense of responsibility, solution-oriented approach, and well-organized
- Good communication skills in German and English language
- Excellent team working skills and motivation capabilities
